LKA Annual Potluck & Awards 2017

The Annual LKA Potluck is in the books!  Hendricks Park in North Charleston once again saw our club descend upon the pavilion for our eating, awards presentation, and some cornhole action as well.  Thanks to all who attended!

Special thanks to Chris Tweedy for hooking us up with wings from Blues House of Wings (thanks guys for the assist) and Rick McGee for bringing his grill and whipping up some wonderful venison sausage.

Congratulations to our awarded anglers!  First our overall Angler of the Year for 2017 is Jim Morrissey.  He finished up his 2017 AOY campaign with the November redfish month victory to secure the title of Angler of the Year.  He won three months overall for 2017.  Along with the plaque, Jim also picks up a wonderful prize pack donated by our friends at Z-Man.

Michele Quick is our Lady Angler of the Year!  Michele made a big splash in our AOY this year, with some nice catches to secure the victory...

The Quick family made their presence known throughout the AOY and on this podium!  Our 2017 Junior Angler of the Year is Joe Quick - who also has the distinction of being the first angler to win a AOY title back-to-back!  Congratulations!

Congratulations to all the anglers!  Here are the AOY winners along with some of our monthly winners who received certificates at the potluck...

Here are the potluck cornhole champions!  Chad Quick and Jim Morrissey won the 50/50 tournament, with $90 going to the HOW Chapter...

Darrell Olson, the Coordinator for the Lowcountry SC Chapter of HOW, presented a gift to the HOW chapter volunteers in attendance...thanks for helping support the HOW chapter with the gift of your volunteerism!

Here are some more pictures from the potluck!
