The first LKA saltwater meet and greet of 2016 was held down at Cherry Point SC on beautiful Wadmalaw Island near Bohicket Creek. Cherry Point is a 45 minute drive from Charleston down Maybank HWY. The landing offers lots of parking with one large multiple lane boat ramp, providing plenty of space to unload your yak. It was a great day, thankfully the weather held off and we had a huge turnout. It looks like lots of fish were caught and lots of jig heads lost on the many oyster beds as the tide dropped. Thanks again to Lewis for grilling up hot dogs for all the returning anglers after a great day of fishing.
